Dealer says live with it. This is not right. When starting both gauges start to work "both load Mercury logo" but Sometimes the smartcraft speedo just locks or goes blank. Only the speedo, tach works every time! I found that if I either pull the plug on back og the gauge or turn off engine and battery then turn on again it usually works. It also holds the display after ignition key is turned off. Out of warrenty. Could it be a miswired ignition switch? Any ideas?
