Options on next boat????

On our next boat (either a pontoon or deck boat) we think we want: bimini, swim platform, porta-potty, change room, shower washdown. What options did you get or wished you'd gotten?

Depending on your cruising waters, you may want to consider a depth finder, GPS and compass. I also like my full enclosure, docking lights, and backup camera.

I wish our deckboat had a GPS with lake maps. That can be combined with a depth guage and a weather radar overlay.

I have rod storage, depth finder (with GPS), a good stereo, rod holders, live wells. Double bimini. Triple tubes. Lifting strakes, underskinning. a strong trolling motor (This is my "get me home" capability. Oars or paddles on a pontoon are next to useless)

I highly recommend the douple bimini. It lets you get more shade over the playpen if you want it.

I have a porta-potty/changing room but have never used either. On my lake I'm within 15 minutes of a restroom almost everywhere so having to clean a porta-potty just didn't seem like a good idea to me. I use the space for cooler storage. Of course your usage may vary.

I had a ski-tow bar installed. Makes skiing/tubing much easier and better.

Get the biggest motor you can afford. Can never have too much power.

If you put chemicals in the porta-potty, you'll only need to clean it when it's full. I have went three months or more here in the hot Florida weather before empting with no objectional odors.

Ski tow bar! It's a must have if you got kids that love to tube or ski.

I'd love a raised helm. Would make it so much easier to see in front of you when cruising down the river.
