1) Did you pay about $85 to $100 for freight?? "cause the dealer will have to if he only orders one motor, however, if he orders three engines (not neccessariarly the same ones, just three) then he gets free freight on all three! So,..... is Merc actually "out" of the motor you're waiting for OR did he just not order it yet cause he doesn't want to "eat" the freight and is waiting to also order two more motors???? Ask him!! 2) Is this motor part of a "boat and motor "package"? 'Cause if it is, the motor gets orderd via the boat builder, financing arranged and then the motor comes from the builder or Mercury!! That usually takes some time but usually the motor gets to the dealer prior to the boat getting to the dealer!! ????? Again, ask him! Maybe the motor is sold out of '04s and you're gunna get a '05??
