Re: ordering gps,

iboats sells the Garmin Legend, Bowfin, and is as reliable a place to get one as any, anywhere.

Click on Marine MegaMall at the top of the page, enter Garmin Legend, click SEARCH.

Re: ordering gps,

Greetngs all,

I have been looking at the sales hype about gps receivers. Quiet confusing.
Is there one that will do street maps for auto use and then can be transfered for boat use?
Do all units have to have software purchased seperately?
Thanks,
Fitz.

Re: ordering gps,

JB, I checked the Iboats megemall, and they were cheaper for the GPS than the other sites. Shipping was more and I couldn't find all the accessories I wanted, but I may give them a call at the 800 number to see if they have them. Some companies charge more for a phone order, so I hope iboats doesn't. I couldn't tell where the store was. Is it on the left coast? The shipping was more from iboats, but that may be because I am Eastcoast.
BTW, the forbidden material was a website for one of the places I was looking to purchase the GPS from. Just want to make that clear so nobody assumes I'm posting obscene stuff. The moderator kind of neutered my post, but it is understandable being Iboats is a business and provides this forum. I'll ask this advice on some other forum. Thanks for the response JB.

Bowfin
