I know this is not a repair question, but I posted this on the non repair board, and got no response. When going through some of my service literatue, a came across a brochure printed by Evinrude Motor's in 1960. It give's all of the service spec's on there engine's going back to 1909. Bore, and stroke, HP, weight, prop size, fuel mixture, spark plug, and etc. What I found very interesting is they give the cost of the engine at that time. I doubt if very many working men would have had an outboard motor in those early year's. As an example, a 1934 Lawnboy mower cost $110, or a 3HP Service Twin for a $145 in 1923. What would be a good thing to do with this information. The brochure is 42 pages long, and not a reprint. It was put out by Evinrude Motors.Would it be worth having prints made, as it would have value to collector's, or people who like to restore old motor's. I know I am probably out of bounds posting this here. I would like to know if some of the older Tech's have seen this information, or still have it in their file's.
