Ouch hit bottom :(

First Off.. A Big Thanks to all of you...<br />I purchased a used 1987 Wellcraft Classic 170 <br />with 130hp 4cyl, Alpha outdrive. Right away my first problem was bad acceleration. This website helped me quickly confirm the carb and I got it rebuilt. Last saturday was the first day back in the water.Yeah.. it runs great, very smooth all the the way to WOT. On my way back to the dock I really hit something good. On the trailer I noticed me prop was shot, nasty gouges..back to the prop shop for shure. But what bothered me was the prop shaft would click when spun. I'm a novice here , is this something I can attempt to fix , or look for a mechanic. <br />Thanks Again..you all are very helpfull.<br />Dean

Rock the shifter back and forth a little and then turn the prop. Bet it goes away (clicking) normally its just a minor adjustment on the shift cable.

Check the runout on that shaft - just in case!
