I bought a tv for the boat, a little Toshiba 13" color / remote / vcr / 12/110 volt unit. I was worried about scratching it up so I left it in the plastic 'til we got to the boat. We arrived and started to load up our stuff. I passed my friend my son, who he put on the deck. The cooler... on the deck. The chips 'n stuff... on the deck. My overnight bag which I always take... on the deck. So finally I pass him the tv, he grabs it very carefully and turns around to pass it downstairs to my wife. I turn to move the cart out of the way, all of a sudden... bang! bang bang bang. I guess my friend decided the plastic bag it was in was a carrying tote so he held it by the top and the tv ripped the bag. How dumb. The tv fell through the bag, onto the first step and then tumbled down the stairs. It was all scratched up and looking like a heap of crapola. It hadn't even been plugged in yet!
Thanks for the help I said.
I hate when that happens!!
