Our new(used) boat, thanks iboat

HI,
I have browsed for a while now looking for info on getting a used boat and starting out with it. I want to thank the iboat community for all the great info on this site! We bought a 2003 Regal 1800 LSR with 4.3L in excellent condition 2 weeks ago. Had it out 3 times the first week and now the weather is not cooperating and it is killing me and our 3 little ones. We just want to boat!

Thats a great looking boat, Sparks.

My kids (7 year old twins and a 21 year old) really love ours. We try to go at least once a week after school. It is good leverage for chores and good grades!

Congrats Sparky,
But i am sort of partial to Regal boats. Just picked up ours last evening, it's a 2004 1800 with the 4.3 and Volvo outdrive. We only had it out for the sea trial, but that was a blast. No we are waiting for the sun to come out so the we can introduce our 2 yo daughter to boating. She did enjoy sitting in it last night. I do like the yellow color.

Those Regals are beautiful boats...we looked at them when we bought ours, but wanted something a bit bigger for a few less dollars. So settled on the glastrons. That package is real nice though with the stepped hulls. I'm still a bit jealous!

Thanks guys, can't wait for the real fun this summer. Sparkinator great idea for the kids will have to do that for my 7 and 5 yr olds. It is a real nice package with the 4.3, fast 53 on the speedo and good pulling power for tubing and skiing. The stepped hull planes fast and cuts through the water.

They are 7,5 and youngest will be 4 in june. We are going to make them responsible for little thing to help with the outings. Loading, unloading and cleaning, can't just be all fun.

Awesome looking boat. Sounds like your family is going to have one sweeeet summer. My wife and I bought our boat on November 1st, but it was a fixer-upper, not the set-up you have. We got her about 90% finished, and have had her out on the lake/river 7 times now. I have always borrowed my brothers Rinker, and he would borrow my M109R motorcycle. It's nice to own my own boat & bike now though.
