Nope, that is a Gen II outdrive and will not bolt up to your 87.

Actually.... We're the best... go tell your friends

All joking aside, easyiest way to tell is by see the 4 through bolts towards the front of the drive that bolt the 2 halves together.

Have a look at this file I put together, it will help you in your drive search.
