Out drive works but trim only works one direction:

Omc 800 outdrive works fine but trim only works in the up direction. Solenoid clicks on down cycle:confused! Any Ideas? Thanks!

I would recommend that it's a bad solenoid. Take a thick wire and jump the leads from your battery to the DOWN lead on your solenoid. If it goes down, then you have bypassed the solenoid to give DOWN power. In this case, the solenoid is bad.
