So...first time boat owner here...for those that didn't see my NG post its a '93 Chris Craft 342 Express cruiser...been out a couple times working issues out as we go (boat sat for 2 years inactive)...still a few issues but we're gettin there. We keep it at Shorty Pants Marina at the Lake of the Ozarks (about 2 1/2 hours from us in st.louie)...anyway....gorgeous day...sunny 65 degrees...woke up early (boat sleeps 4 comfortably)...no one on the lake and glass like water...decided to do some practicing with slow maneuvers...ya know...backin into the slip...cozying up to the gas dock...I've still got the "tight cheeks" backin in but I'm getting more comfortable with it. Had a guy tell me when I first bought it "never approach anything faster than ya want to hit it"...seemed like good advice so I don't
....slow and steady is my game...fun getting to know your boat...her and I are developing a great relationship....I think she appreciates the attention. So...enough with dialog and here's some pics....
