Outboard Exhaust Question

We just test-operated our used Evinrude Yachtwin 4.0 for the first time. Though the engine seems to be running okay, we noticed considerable white exhaust coming from the water intake. In fact, considerably more exhaust was coming from the water intake than from the exhaust relief outlets. Does this indicate a problem? Thanks. Stan

Im not their so its hard to tell. Could be steam. Pull the plugs and see if one is really bright and clean. If so you have a problem.
