Outboard for a old Seaswirl

Hello fellow boaters, just bought a used 72-Seaswirl runabout w/o the motor. I like to know what size ob to get. It's a 15'and about 800lbs. I have a 7.5hp to use as a kicker or back-up. I will be fishing & crabbing . Any info will be appreciated.<br /><br />Thanks, BB

my cuz. has a similar weight tri-hull and it runs<br />well with a 70hp... belive max HP is 85???

Do you have a picture? I just picked up a 15.5 ft what I think is a seaswirl no markings. It has a 60 hp Johnson.

I have a 1972 SeaSwirl Tri-Hull (pictured) and it has a 50hp O/B. 60hp would be better though.
