I have just bought a boat and it came with an auxiliary engine. I was to!d it was a mariner 6 HP and that's all.
The serial number is 09838930
I have tried looking this up on various sites and it either comes up not found or I can't find a match. I havnt a clue what it is. It's silver like a mariner. Looks quite old.
The engine is a single cylinder and runs well. It doesn't pump water out as does my bigger engine. After checking all overt I can't find anywhere for the water to come out and no water intake holes on the sides of the lower section. Could this be air cooled?
