Outboard motor charging system -

I am new at outboard motors. I am an interested in a 7.5 outboard. The owner says it has<br />a charging system. What is it?

Thanks for the response.<br />The motor is a Johnson. I will have to get the other information. <br />Do you know what a "Charging System" does?
