I built my own stand out of 1 1/2" Sq tubing and some wheels from grainger. The tubing cost $16.00
and the whells were about $35.00. It took about an 2 hrs with a wire feed welder and chop saw.

You can see it with my 150GT Johnson on it under the post Replacing Transom.

if you don't have access to all the metal working equipment you could build one out of wood. I built one using only 4x4s, 2x4s and some castors (sp?)

I made my own,, its not movable.. I made it by stealing my girlfriends homemade clothes rack and cutting the bar of the top, then i bolted a 6x4 across it, half way up, and put the outboard on that. (OMC 100HP..) you can't move it with the outboard off, but its easy enough without it.

rgds

Frank

I Made mine completely out of 2X4's. About $20.00 worth. Add another $20.00 for casters and you're there.

It is currently supporting a 90 hp. Evinrude (310 lbs.), controls, battery, etc. It is also strong enough to run the engine on. Rolls around easy too!

Thanks for the good ideas. For the not handy found a husky one at Holiday Boat Discount Marine in Lynwood, IL for quite a bit more than you can build your own for. ;)
