outboard motor height

When raising the mounting height do you need to place something like a spacer between the transom and motor or does the motor just rest on the mounting bolts? It is a 4 stoke Suzuki 70.

You can use any of the factory holes. You do not need anything on the top of the transom.<br /><br />Good luck!
