Outboard Motor Options for my 1995 Astro

I recently bought a 1995 Astro Bass Boat that had a 1995 Mercury 150 EFI on it. Boat has recessed control box and wiring to rear less plug the guy cut off when he took the motor. Was trying to figure out what motor options I have that I will not have to change controls or main wiring harness. I am on a tight budget so may have to go older non EFI?

Any decent used outboard should come with controls. They are fairly simple to rig up. I wouldn't want to limit myself when shopping to one specific brand.
