ebay and craigslist

however an "old motor" may be a 1905 1.5 hp or a 2015 450hp.

without any reference, we could not hazzard a guess.

Markets are different in many areas.-----Some shops will not work on older motors and therefor they are of no use to "club fisted " folks.----And often those that know how to work on them have lots given to them.----What motor and where is your market ?

Prices vary by location. Two strokes are becoming red headed stepchilds. Many dealers won't work on them anymore.

Do an NADA marine search with your zip code. Look at local Craigslist ads. Try Ebay to see if you can locate a similar model in your area.

Post a CL ad for $1000. If nobody bites you're too high. If they knock down your door you're too low.

It's also very important if it was a fresh water or salt water motor.
