Anyone know if raising the engine a bolt hole at the transom helps or hinders getting a bit more bow lift at wide open throttle. I know about ventilation etc. I have power trim, 60hp 2stk. 15 ft aluminum. Hull needs to lift a bit more for more top speed. Also the props am using 14&15p 10-10.5in

From a geometric standpoint, raising the motor on the transom would be like shortening a lever. You'd get less bowlift.

The prop of choice is usually how we adjust bow-lift, however, heigth can change how much you get because speed will generally increase as will RPM.

Typically you want the cavitation plate on the lower unit no lower than the middle of the drainplug hole. Keep in mind, the more lower unit you have in the water the more drag you are creating, which in turn leads to less speed.
