When powering up getting out of the hole,I am hearing a "thud" at the rear of the boat. I can not tell where it is coming from. Everything else is fine. Any suggestions?
Thanks trippin for reply, my prop spacers and are fine. I have heard this noise since end of last year and did not have it check out this year. Forgot it was making the noise... but it is,any other suggestions?
The only other thing I can think of is a loss of pressure in the trim mechanism causing the outdrive to stray upon deceleration, then upon acceleration it slams back into the boat. Other than that, i'm drawing a blank...sorry.
Thanks once again for all your reply's. Make of the outdrive is a bravo 2 , make of the boat is a scr27 maxum 1991. Yes same noise everytime. Very hard to trace. Boat runs fine otherwisw. I will look for something loose that might be banging in the bilge when coming out of the water. (good idea). I will have someone listen to see where it might be coming next time i am out. I am on the east coast and the weather has been horrible....<br />thanks
