outdrive shaft saltwater rusted in coupling got it out ez!!!!!!!

last march i was looking for help g etting omc outdrive from boat,tried pb blaster many days, hydrochloric acid,i cut a piece of plywood long and thin to fit in between some webs just above input shaft and then cut a thin slot just wide enough to fit air chisel bit (because bit wouldnt stay on round shaft) hit it for a while,turned engine a little hit it somemore,ect,went out and pulled it off!!! this had seawater running on it for years!!! hope this helps a lot of you marty
