I was tracing a starter problem per the instructions on this forum. I much have done something wrong now the outdrive will not move. The outdrive was down when I got to the slave solenoid, touch two wires together
( you can disconnect the wires from terminals B and C and hook them together and you will be able to bypass the slave solenoid all together and it should work.) and the outdrive went up. Replaced the slave solenoid and still nothing. I just bought the boat it is a 1980 Gran Bateau 25 footer,I knew it needed some work so all the outdrive seals,bellows,trim and trailering limited switches,oil,impeller,gimbell bearing have been replace. The mechanic said it ran great. Got it to the lake and the starter died(that is why I was chasing the starter problem). Thanks for the help.
