Outer Transom Plate Replacement Part

Hi all.

I have a '79 glastron with MERC 260 and MR (Pre alpha) transom plate, bell housing etc. It currently has a alpha bolted to it.

My trouble is that the bell housing and outer transom plate drive bellows surfaces are corroded beyond repair, causing water to enter the bellows. I need to replace the outer transom plate and bell housing. Big job, sounds like fun!

I have an opportunity to buy a '85 MERC 140 setup, inner transom plate to bell housing. Will this stuff fit my existing transom hole??
