Well, First splash was fun for a while. Idled the boat for a while, both engines at 1800 RPM's, everything great. I did notice however, that the port side engine's port manifold was getting a little hot.

Long-story, even longer,

Went up on plane, runs good. Came down, shut off. Started up, back on plane, Smoke coming from hatch. Port side Manifold to the melting plastic stage. Real hot. Engine only 160. Cooled off, Noticed I now have a good leak happening from somewhere under the engine, transom somewhere.
I inspected all the bellows before launching. All looked good.
What's next? Is there a hose under there that I melted?
Thanks

Yeah, I figured I would be replacing the riser and possibly manifold and the rubber boot parts but how did that contribute to a leak? Or is it a coincidence?
