1988 Bayliner 5.7 OMC. Just replaced impleller drive pump, new manifolds and risers, new water pump
on engine, new stat. Heats up at idle, fast.?Pulled hose from stat housing, coming from outdrive. At
idle no water coming out of hose but bring up rpm and water flows out. Rechecked all the parts again.
Don,t see any problem with them. Running it in driveway with garden hose. Plenty of pressure.
Any ideas what to try next?

If you just replaced the impeller were there pieces missing? If there were you'll need to find them downstream and remove them.

No there were no old pieces of the impeller . Just replaced it to make sure that was not the problem.
