So I got carried away with the grinder and made a few holes in fiberglass on the tops of stringers and the wood is showing through. Bayliner in their infinite wisdom ploped the floor down on top of wet epoxy and this has spread out over the stringers. So now the stringers are straight and tight on the sides but the top has a slight buldge
like a T.
Do I grind this off and lay some cloth over the stringer or just mixup a good batch of epoxy with milled fiberglass and lay my floor over. The gouges I made are in three spots about 4 inches long. I will be screwing in every 6 inches with SS screws too.

Do whatever is handy and fastest. All you need to do is keep water from getting to the wood on those stringers.

The cloth might give a little added strength, but not a lot. Most important is sealing for water-proofing!
