Hey guys, I have been reading a lot about overheat warning alarms and was wondering if a 1979 70 hp Evinrude even has one. Looked at a parts manual and couldn't find it there. What would you do if it hasn't got one? Still new to this but am learning lots on this board. Thanks for all the help.

Hi Vantoo, The overheat horn should be located in the remote control box, it's fed by a tan wire.
