Hi all,<br />The overheating alarm/buzzer sounded on my 1993 88 SPL this weekend durring a wot run.<br />I shut it down and let it cool off. I restarted and the buzzer didnt sound. We continued on our way but kept it between 3-4K rpms.<br /><br />In reading all the post here I assume I need to change the impellor. I have had this boat for 10 months and the previous owner could not remember if the impellor had been changed or not when he had maintenance done on the engine.(elderly guy)<br /><br />The 88 SPL is pushing a 22' deckboat. The pee hole does seem to have lost some of its force at idle but I guess you cant really tell from just that. <br /><br />Can someone tell me the part number for the impellor kit for this engine?<br /><br />1993 Evinrude 88 SPL.<br /><br />Thanks....
