overheating johnson

hi
i have 2000 year,130hp johnson,have problem with overheating,but engine is cold,im intrsted what resistance must have temperature senzor on cilinder head on 20,and 60 degrise??

i see this is termo switch,one have one wire(brown) and when i heatting him,resistance comes zero,but second have two wire,brown and white-black,white-black is always on ground,zero resistance,how work this termo switch?

I don't have any motors that new. But I believe it is a bi-metal switch. Open when cold, closed at 200 degrees (edit) or so. It provides a ground when hot and closes the circuit. If it's stuck closed resistance will be near 0 ohms.

The tan wires are for the warning horn. The temperature switches close the horn circuit when the engine overheats at around 210? F.

The black and white wire controls the powerpack features of QuikStart 96? and S.L.O.W.
