Ok, first of all im a newbie here, i been a longtime lurker and reading alot of the posts and love the site. I have a question, this is driving me nuts, i have tried everything i can possibly think of... ok, here goes, i have 2004 40 horse mercury 4 stroke injected, its running hot, i think thats the prob. but its pissin good till the buzzer goes off about 10 min from the dock at 3/4 throttle... but at idle its fine, no problems, i can idle all day long till i open her up a bit then it starts buzzing again... i changed the water pump impeller (housing looked fine) in fact the pump looked fine also, it was tight in the housing... i changed the thermostat thinking that was the prob, same thing... buzzing and the water coming out the pisser is somewhat hot even at idle...Any ideas?? this is driving me nuts,, i even blew some air up in there thinking it might be blocked up with trash but it flowed out fine... any info would be greatly appreciated....
