Have a '75 888 that the temp starts rising over 2200 rpm; under that the needle stays planted at 160. Replaced the impeller and thermostat and the problem still persists. Have nice cool waterflow coming out of propeller hub, nice cool water flowing out of port outlet under drive (MC-1) but the water coming out of STBD outlet is very warm when hooked up to muffs. Up top all hoses cool except for the ones exiting the front of the risers. Any ideas where to look next?
