painted boat and i got some overspray on the top deck, took it to my friends detail shop and told them to use clay bar to remove, well i left and my friend left and while gone one of his idiot employees used paint thinner on it, well now instead of small droplets that would have come off he smeared it like ink all over and now it deep into the grooves of the non skid surface, wet sanded but cant get it out of grooves, what is your best opinion, was even thinking bout using a sand blaster on low and trying that out. or using a scrub brush with some type of adhesive removing gel and see if that works?

Re: overspray problem

Because of the non-skid surface it's going to be tough. The paint's gonna be hard to get out of the "Valleys" in between the grains, I suggest, working on a small area at a time, to wet it with a standard horsehair brush and then daub it with a terrycloth type rag to soak it up out of the valleys. If that doesn't work your looking at painting the area again. You might get away with thinning the paint and lightly airbrushing the area with a matching color.

Good Luck.
