I've just recently bought a 93 Javelin 350A bass boat. I'm hoping to find an owners manual that covers that year and model boat. I've searched the net and came up with nothing. I was hoping maybe someone here could point me in the right direction to get one. Thanks in advance.

your looking for something that doesnt exist.

out of the hundreds of thousands of boat manufacturers over the past 60 years, you could count the number of manufacturers that make manuals on one hand.

normally a boat "manual" is a 4 page safety brochure indicating the pointy end is the bow, the round thing you hold on to will steer the boat and not to go swimming around the prop. there is also a list of servicing dealers.

however, that being stated, the motor will have a manual, links to manuals in the stickies. if you want to buy a manual for your motor, buy a factory manual, stay away from Clymer, Haynes, Seloc.

other stuff such as bilge pumps, cleats, lights, etc are bough from vendors.

that being stated, what information in particular are you looking for?

Scott, Thanks for the reply. This is gonna sound pretty stupid or at least it does to me but I'm trying to find out if the boat I just bought is supposed to have a bilge pump in it. It's a 93 Javelin 350A. Having spent most of my adult life in the Army and away from boats I realize things may have changed a bit here and there but this boat doesn't have a pump. I've checked all around the hull and there isn't an exhaust port for the pump any where. The switch panel has a pump switch in it but it appears to do nothing. This is the first bass boat I've seen without a bilge pump. Maybe I'm just stupid but I'm thinking there should be a pump. My next step is to start removing the rear deck panels to see if there is actually a pump in the hull. I was hoping to be able to find out the easy way first.

On a lake boat like that the owner may have opted not to have one in ... dunno' why they would, but they could have. Bilge pump is considered "rigging" and not really anything to do with the manufacturing of the boat. Many manufacturers put one in during the build now, but some may still let 'em be rigged in at the dealer.

it will have a bilge pump

look around the boat. there should be the drain plug near center at the back of the transom or just under a step. and there should be 3 more thru-hull fittings.

one will be above the water line - that is the bilge discharge. the other two will be the live well intake (with screen) and discharge. these will be below the water line.

the easy way is to look

I tried to google an image, however no one wants to post the arse end of their boat.

Thanks for the input guys. I've gone over the hull completely and the only drains are in the center bottom of the transom. One is the main drain for the hull plug and the other is for the live well. Every bass boat I have ever been around or owned in the past the bilge discharge port is always toward the stern on either the port or starboard side a little above the water line, not on this boat. I'm gonna have to pull up the rear deck and look to see if there is one there at all. Since I'm putting in a new fish finder and battery tender I might as well do it all at the same time. I really appreciate the info and if ya have any other suggestions I would appreciate it. Thanks.
