Just a tip to rid your boat of odors!!! We purchased an ozone generator and have on a timer in the Luna Sea running just a few hours daily when we are not at the boat and Wow boat is clean and fresh like never before (well since new!!) I would recommend to all if you want the brand I can post it

Yes, ozone generators works very well in that regard, as long as you follow the proper safety precautions. Since yours is on a timer, sounds like you're well informed on the subject.

We never run it while on board and the key is to open all your drawers and closets to let the ozone search them out, especially on older boats. We have 2 lectrascan heads on board and ridding all the smells there is a constant battle, best thing is to change out hoses periodically and keep flushed with clean water then flush dry when away from the boat

We used to have a musty smell on our houseboat after it sat closed up for a while, an ozone generator made a huge difference! I have heard that if the level is set too high, it can make rubber start to deteriorate.... Anyone hear the same?

Yes it can destroy rubber and a few other things.
