Hi everyone, Its a 1998 Skeeter ZX202c, with a Yamaha V max, P/N P200TLRW Manufacture date: 06/97.
Ran like a bat out of hell for about 5 min. then when I let up on the gas for a moment then gave gas, it would bog down and would have to work the gas to get it up to speed. The motor would not turn off with the key, or the emergency switch at the CDI. I had to pul the plug wires until it died.
I did the following: Leak down test on cylinders and found good, replaced plugs, the plugs I puled looked normal, carbs removed, disassembled, and cleaned in sonic cleaner, replaced both fuel pumps, replaced fuel filter, found all wire connections connected except for the remote oil tank in the boat was disconnected. The oil lines from the oil injection pump to the intake manifolds have large air bubbles, and no broken wires, Ignition switch tested ok, fuel lines clear.
Test Run: gave it gas and it just bogged, had no power. Then I started working and pumping the gas and it would sputter a little then take off for about 10 sec. then bog down.
