Just got the first coat of paint on the bottom of my boat today. Slight chance of rain (30%) the rest of the week. Used Interlux Micron CSC can says 2 hours dry to touch, 16 hours between coats and 16 hours before launch. Question, How long does the paint need to be on the boat before it is set enough that rain won't hurt it? i.e. I paint at finish 2nd coat at 10 AM, rain starts at 2P.M., will the paint be harmed? Any experience will be greatly appreciated. Want to get done ASAP, but need it to be a quality job.
