Paint flaking and carb ?

The paint is flaking off the sides of my Dargle 176 scout, anny solutions?<br />How hard is rebuilding carbs on 1990 100gt Johnson?

Carb rebuild is no problem as long as you have a good service manual to help walk you through the job (the most important thing) and a good set of basic hand tools.. <br /><br /> Don't forget the OMC carb rebuild/repair kits and some carb cleaner... <br /><br />As for the flaking paint, I dunno??? A fresh coat of paint maybe..
