Paint spraying question

I would like to paint my boat using rust-oleum boat paint from lowes. Can any one tell me if or how much I need to thin this paint to use in a paint prayer?

Hey Tj, probably should link your boat work thread, that way your advice will be for an ALUMINUM boat. It's got pretty specific steps to get paint to adhere to the aluminum, fiberglass boats have different prep & pant steps.

Bare aluminum needs to be hit w/ zinc chromate (ZC) or self-etching (SE) or a number of other aluminum specific 1st step primer, THEN primer that is compatible w/ your top coats.

Ok, so how much do I need to "thin" the paint to use a "air controlled paint gun"
