Hello,

I have a 6" wide border that goes around the whole boat. I want to change the color from Old Clay to Bright Red. I bought INTERLUX BRIGHTSIDE 1 PART TOPSIDE PAINT.

TESTED FIRST: I took a smooth board home with me and primed it and then gave it 3 coats (1 coat each day) I sanded between coats with 800 grid sandpaper to remove any lint or dust.

PROBLEM: The last coat still has a little Lint or dust particles in the final coat.

QUESTION: How do you remove any dust particles without dulling the finish?

DO I sand it and then put a Clear coat on top??

Thanks,
Lou
