looking for some help here, i need to paint the hull sides of my boat 25' it got damaged last year when a line broke and keep hitting a piling. i know of a couple of brands out there but i know there is something better than imron and allgrip.

im looking for a good epoxy paint thats going to last, i dont want to do this again two years down the road. its maroon in color and im going to stay with that or as close as i can. does any one know of even a industrial paint that would work. thanks for any help in advance.

Re: painting hull sides

Although Awlgrip and Imron have their faults, durability isnt really one of them. They are a bit unwieldy to apply tho.

You can check out Aquapon 35 as a gloss industrial epoxy

For a better finish you can look at Delfleet Evolution for a Urethane.....

Delfleet Evolution - Commercial Coatings

You can most likely get the tint you need....Neigher are specifically made for marine use, but they are used with success.

DCC Concept AU would be an alternate to Imron also...
