Painting/Restoring ????

Hey everyone im jus lookin into to restoring my boat and im gunna take my motor off this weekend and i was wondering wat i could hold it with do they make special olders for outboards and if so where could i find one? thanx a lot for ur help and also would it be best to paint with a gun and a air compressor or sumthin else im kinda new to paintin boats so ne information would be helpful thanx
