A lot of local news circling around the issue of why people don't seem to be paying that much attention to this very bad news disaster.
Everyone seems to be a bit worn out.....no end in site to these world disasters....Haiti, Indonesia....

The silence on this is deafening.
I get 95% of my news off the net, so yes I am aware of the situation.

Don't know if there is any coverage on the tube.

all the relief agencies, are stretched so thin, at this time. the military can not just move in, they have to be invited, by the country. looks like there President is off traveling, while there is troubles at home.

Pakistan is bordering on being a failed state, we can only hope that this disaster does not push them over the edge. The consequences of that presently happening would surely be western civilization greatest nightmare.
Where is all of the money promised to aid the Haitian disaster relief ?
Pakistan perhaps will not get hung out to dry like Haiti is, the long term cost in money and lives will be far too great a price for us and our allies to bear.

Safer just to think it....

It's probably because they are hiding terrorists that hurt us. If the major networks reported on it the amount of negative energy towards the country would increase!
