10 years ago,, me & 3 r/c flying buddies went to an airfield across the line in pa..<br /><br />for 100 bucs we got ground school an a 20 minute SOLO flite an a paraplane..<br /><br />they're a 4 wheeled cart with an engine ( rotax) an a parachute.. they take off in a 100yards an land in much less..<br /><br />i was pushin' the envolope at the time .. cause it only had a 180 lbs payload.. ( i was a tad over ).. <br /><br />it was V E R Y cool..!! to say the least..<br /><br />to take-off ,, to fly around ,, an land..<br />WHAT CAN BE BETTER..!!<br /><br />they only go 26 mph an still controlable if engine quits an glides to earth a third slower than a parachutist comes down..<br /><br />anyway,, i wanted one..!!<br /><br />but money,life, an lbs got in the way..<br /><br />well ,, i been dabblin' on the web an stuff an got my WANT back.. <br /><br />they're now 300 to 400 lb payload.. an alot better an even safer ,now..<br /><br />get a new one for 9 grand.. used ones for less.. <br /><br />anyone have one ,see one, know-of-one..
