I just read this from the local news station.

Check the last paragraph of the story.

DENTON, Texas - Denton police said they have no plans to file charges against a clerk whose parents and husband were charged with robbing the pizza restaurant where she works.

The Denton Record-Chronicle reported that police said the clerk, Stephanie Martinez, didn't know they planned to rob the Pizza Patron in the 100 block of East University Drive at about 10:30 p.m. Friday.

While the robbery was in progress, Martinez discovered her father was the robber when another clerk struck him, knocking him out and knocking off his wig and sunglasses. He was later apprehended after witnesses followed the getaway pickup.

Sgt. James Brett said Martinez's husband told them she didn't know about the robbery. He said he knew they were going to rob someplace but she thought it was going to be a convenience store.

Authorities charged Jose Miguel Martinez, 26, with aggravated robbery. He is free on $50,000 bail.

Benjamin Ramirez, 41, and Sonia Palacios, 38, are both charged with aggravated robbery.

Bail was set at $50,000 each, but they are being held without bail on immigration violations.

They did it for the dough!! :)

This is interesting.... "Bail was set at $50,000 each, but they are being held without bail on immigration violations." not robbery but immigration!

That store owner needs to educate the employees. Fighting during a robbery is not safe or worth it. Hero's don't make money but hospitals will.

What a great example "this is how you excel in life honey" seeing my father in a wig would have been enough for me.

Man bread sticks sound good right now.....:D

about 40 years ago, my cousin was a head bank teller. on some mornings she would be the first there. she and the manager were the ones who opened the vault. well her boyfriend, and his friends decided to rob the bank. took her 3 years to be cleared of knowledge of the robbery.

That is another good line. She's ok, she thought it was someplace else they were robbing.

Yeah, imagine coming to a place and blatantly disregarding the rules everyone else plays by because you don't think those rules apply to you.
