Part number for part pictured?

Hello all-

1998 Mercrusier 5.7 (M048938)

I am trying to identify the part number for the part pictured (see item circled in red). Under the protective sleeve is a metal hose between starboard exhaust manifold and intake manifold.

Specifically, I am trying to find a replacement for the hose fitting (see picture). There is a male side that fits into the exhaust manifold. Diameter of male side is 3/4". The other side is female. Diameter is maybe 5/8"? I don't know for sure as I wrecked it trying to remove it.

I don't think you need to go to Merc for this. It looks like a std brass adapter. I suggest remove the metal hose from the intake manifold and take it to a hardware store to size up the male thread going into the exhaust manifold fitting. Then get a transition adapter with that female size to the male size going into the exhaust manifold. The hose fitting may be pipe, or flare. If your hardware store doesn't carry it, go to a hydraulic specialty shop. They carry everything, or Google it.

Now I have the specs and can look for one at the local hydraulic shop. If they don’t have one, I can always order one online.
