Part number for thermostat and sleeve

I have an 85 mercruiser 350. I got a marine thermostat and plastic sleeve spacer but im not sure it was the right one for this motor. The first time I took it out it stuck and overheated the boat. I took it out and have been running without it until I can get some new ones . Id like to get the correct one ,I know its not good to be running this thing at 120 degrees.Thanx for any help

post the serial number for the engine, and looking it up will be easy.....

Ok I went and got it A341145 Its a 305 but I switched out the longblock to a 350 but All the external cooling parts are from this serial number motor.Thanx for the help

You will be able to find the part numbers for the thermostat, sleeve, & the correct gaskets you should be using in the first link below,

Yes it sounds like you may have the wrong sleeve, yours should have been more of an brass type material.

Thanx for the help ,Does my serial sound right for an 85 model motor. It came from an 85 four winns.
