part numbers?

I have a 1984 70 hp evinrude. Mod# E70 TLCRD<br />Ser# J0433009 I woul like to replace the tilt trim motor. On ebay I believe I found one however it says it replaces certin part numbers.<br />Where can I find these omc part numbers and does anyone know what this part number would be?

If the electric motor you're looking at on e-Bay is a OMC two (2) wire PTT motor, it will work on your engine. It must be a two (2) wire electric motor.<br /><br />The interchangable numbers are 394176, 391264, 393988, and 985237.<br /><br />The 1984 number (yours) is 394176. The most used and available number is 393988. FYI, the "Sierra" number is 18-6759.
