Parts brands Good & Bad ???????

I'm sourcing parts for my old 67 evinrude 80HP and i see good prices for Sierra parts.The evinrude parts are so expensive.Is there that much diffrence in the parts for the money.

I haven't noticed a difference.
Most of the Sierra parts I buy are typically, carb kits, fuel pump kits, impeller kits...anything involving rubber. The last fuel pump kit I liked better than OEM because of a redesign for the better.
Two weeks ago I bought an impeller from my local marine store - it was OEM but had a Sierra # on it. Go figure.

Sierra is just as good in my opinion, same here on the rubber parts, i havent bought anything but carb kits, and fuel pump kits so far and i like them
