parts for 18 hp Evinrude????

Can anyone tell me a place to order replacement parts and kits (re: carb kit, fuel pump kit, coil) for my 1968 18 hp Fastwin Evinrude?

Not only that, but the prices are much better. Only thing is, I suggest you get the carb kit from the Evinrude site or a dealer because it will include a new alcohol-proof float, whereas the Sierra kit from iboats does not include a float.

for the knobs, you may have to get on the aomci.org board and make a request, or go to an outboard motor salvage yard. Sometime they'll be on ebay or on an antique outboard web site, but you'll pay more.

Yeah, I rebuilt my carb with the sierra kit, and while it runs great, I am really wishing I had replaced that float. Someday, when it stalls, I will have to replace it and tear things apart again.

Just remove that from your list of worries and replace it now.
